NWCW: It's history
New Westchester County Wrestling officially closed it's doors May, 2002, with a final pay per view, Suburban Ultra Violence, (SUVA) that was only a couple weeks late. This notice came several months late, of course. You can stop sending us the applications, now. Don't feel left out, though! We merged into the All Pro Wrestling Alliance, currently known as the Mid South Wrestling Alliance! This being after their owner purchased rights to NWCW and several of their top stars.
A multitude of former NWCW stars have since made their homes in MSWA at one time or another. Wilde Tanke, Fudge, Casey Blyght, Dunkle Moving and Storage, The Greatest Tag team in the Whole Wide World, and many more have graced Mid South Wrestling Alliance. If you're interested in NWCW's legacy, your best bet would be to check out MSWA! Several titles continued from NWCW to MSWA; The Windy City championship is now the MSWA TV title. The Commuter's heavyweight title and the Windy City Heritage title were merged into the Commuter's Heritage championship, now known as the Smoky Mountain Heritage title. Even our tag team titles continued. They fell into the hands of MSWA's tag team Southern Comfort, who carried them over to MSWA.
Join today! (Make SURE to read through the handbook and rules, as they do vary from NWCW in many respects.) Help keep the legacy alive!
