Wrestler Info
Wrestler's Name: Rodney "Ace" Tanke
Height: 6'10"
Weight: 340 lbs.
Age: Just over 50
Hometown: Chicago, IL
Music: "Forever Young" by Frank Sinatra
Appearance: Although over fifty, Ace Tanke stands a monstrous
and very well built near seven feet tall. He still maintains a great deal of muscle, despite being inactive for a number of years. With black hair and brown eyes, he's very similar in appearance to an older
version of his nephew, Wilde Tanke, although of course, the end of
Rodney's hairs are now tugged by the advance of time: gray. (Wilde's
had those strange grey marks in his hair for years. Ace's, however, are
more natural, a simple sign of his age.)
He usually wears a serious outfit, look, and outlook, as well.
Mostly Italian.
Background:Ace Tanke has wrestled approximately twenty-five years in independents, including a few run by former BSW/SCCW star Stan Grubb. In fact, it was under Grubb that he made his first break from regional promotion Golden Wrestling, onto a more active roster. He quickly became one of the top stars while simultaneously establishing what would be an extremely long running feud with a monster known as Security, a member of a nWo inspired gang, with the same name.
Ace Tanke, his nephew Wilde, niece Rebecca, and their friends, Jeff Duane and Shelly Hollins, formed Aceside in IWCW, and allied with another group dubbed "the Dungeon" by fans, along with an extreme tag team known as Menace 2 Society, a wrestler known as Sting, Scorpion, and later Dark Scorpion, and a wrestler known only as a "giant."
The three cliques established themselves in the upper echelon, as they
suffered through a painful split that divided IWCW into two separate
federations, NAWA, and IWCW (which soon after merged with an older dying
federation, NWW, and became known as NWICW).
The first NAWA card with the crossover federations feuding turned out to
be one of the last NAWA cards before the federation shut down. On it,
Ace and the giant (known as Walking Doomsday) won the NAWA US tag team
titles from Stan Grubb allies Power Express.

The bad blood lasted for months and years to come. NWICW, dead at the
time, revived itself magically, to take NAWA's place in the feud with
AFW. For a while, AFW was clearly carrying the feud, until a French
manager took over the NWICW, saving it from total boredom. AFW merged
with a federation known as SIW, resulting in SAFW. Not long after, it
shut down and was absorbed into NWICW, although the feud continued until
the French president was replaced by Bill Neno, resulting in a return to
suckiness.
Wilde moved on, but Ace retired, and for the most part, stayed out of
the limelight, aside from a handful of SCCW appearances and a run as
SCCW vice president.
Now, despite being in his fifties, he's finally decided to really make
one last go at being in the NWC, despite previous fall throughs with a
proposed MWA revival and other regions.
But HCW has given him the ball. Only time will tell how long, far, and
how well he runs with it.

Basic Entrance: [The lights go low, as Ace's custon fireworks light up the stadium. Ace A. Rodney Tanke steps through the curtains to an incredibly loud ovation and his theme music is blasting in the background. A tank shaped laser light illuminates the walkway. Ace begins walking to the ring, noticing varios "Aceside" t-shirts filling the arena already. He frowns. The booing always seems to outweight the cheers. The sound of gunfire over the loudspeakers drowns out his music. The crowd is just in a FRENZY!!!]
